Any other rugby fans out there? I'm just about to watch Ireland vs USA. Come on the boys in green!

Problem is the time zones. Getting up at 6am to watch a match is hard work!

I only saw the second half of the Aussie match, but there was some awesome tries! After Ireland, the All Blacks and the Aussies are my favourite teams to watch. My cousin is traveling in New Zealand at the moment and managed to wrangle tickets for Australia vs Ireland. Jealous!

A win for Ireland against the USA! 22-10, but the Americans got a sneaky try in at the end!

Well at least we won, but we're gonna have to play better against the Aussies next week O.o

I support England, but they will have to play a lot better than they did against Argentina if they are to have any chance at all...!

Yeah I heard Wilkinson kept missing on the kicks. I was rooting for Argentina on that one though.

I don't like or watch Rugby, but I'm definitely rooting for Australia. If I didn't, I'd get yelled at

Emphatic Yes! Loopy. I'm so glad it's catching on in the states. I wish I had better access to games on television! Our american football is truly a travesty. Kind of embarrassing really.

Neil - I knew a fellow Celt would agree lol :P

Ajax - yeah, I never really got American football. Theres too much stopping and padding. To each their own though :P

The games are pretty much all in the early hours of the morning over here because of the time difference from the other side of the world. Apart from the Ireland games I think I'll mostly be catching up with the highlights!

We are a bunch of happy overgrown leprechauns after beating Australia :O how is everyone else's team doing?

I wish I could watch all the matches but they're usually on between 1 and 8am =\

*dances around*

HMMMMMMM Im glad us scots aint in the same pool as the irish after that result!!! We are unbeaten though,Argentina next, then on the 1st of Oct its the Auld Enemy, where as you know Lou,winning IS EVERYTHING!!! LOL

Personaly i dont really get American football either, there seems to be more emphasis on the half time entertainment than on the match

Well, I'm not gonna argue about it, but it's just the same as baseball. Americans like baseball and football than most other countries. They are just our sports. It's what we grow up with and what we love. We don't expect anyone else to get it or even like it

Who was talking down American football? My original post was about Scotland and England,no one is dissing American Football.

sorry mate,been a bit cranky latley,not sleeping well,apoligies.
