Had an experience last year while I was driving on a freeway, we were at a crawl when I felt weird and suddenly had a vertigo like effect that my car was moving forward into the next car, I freaked and tried to slam on the breaks but it wouldn't stop, then as quick as it started I was fine and the car was nowhere near hitting anyone else, that happened over a year ago. Almost two years ago. Never persued it as seizure related till I read simple partials can effect spatial perception.

At the time I passed it off as a small panic attack, maybe I just get paranoid reading all the info here, but I see so many clues that make sense.

I think we all are super aware of our bodies...we can't help it!
How scary for you to have that happen while driving! In a way I'm glad I can't drive right now so I don't have to worry about partials while behind the wheel.
Have you ever had that spatial perception happen to you any other time?

Nothing like that ever happened before or since, I've had other unexplained experiences but that one stood out because I was driving and it terrified me, I think partially I never investigated it and a few other things because it could mean I have less control over this whole issue and I could lose my right to drive, it's totally selfish and stupid, but I live out in a small rural town, I lose my drivIng ability I lose my job or my house, it's a scary avalanche that I've avoided by dumb luck so far.

I've had that feeling but I think mine is due to Meniere's. I've been stopped at a traffic light & thought my car was moving forward into traffic. My reaction was to brake even tho I was already stopped. When I am stopped & other cars are moving seems to confuse my vestibular system into . When I am stopped I try not to look at any of the moving cars. I've had this happen when someone else was driving. I felt like I was moving & the only thing that helps is to close my eyes for a moment. It always leaves me shakey.

Well I'm pretty sure I had a simple partial on a plane ride the other night so I'm guessing this probably was one too.
