Anyone have any experiences with skiing they would like to share? My son is 14, very recently diagnosed with epilepsy. He has had 2 tonic-clonic seizures in the past 3 1/2 months. He would love to go skiing with a YMCA group in January. I think the only way I'll let him go is if I go too!

Doesn't sound like his seizures are controlled...

I think you going would be in his best interest unless a YMCA member can watch him 24/7

I can't see anyone skiing whose sz's aren't controlled 100% They'd have to be watched very closely anything could happen.

If you and your son do decide on skiing, I'd suggest making very sure he doesn't use the chairlift. Gondola is probably safer since the lift is enclosed, and as the older T-bar and rope-tow lifts are at ground level they would be far safer than a chairlift as well.
