I've had E since I was 17 and still have my same friends from high school, which is a feat all its own since I'm 56. I also have lots of friends from my career as a nurse. I've always figured if people were bothered by epilepsy then I really didn't need their friendship. But I've been mostly controlled until recently so maybe I've had it easy. I know I was concerned when dating how guys would react when I told them. It's one thing to tell someone you have e and quite another for them to witness a seizure. Jeez, the stuff we deal with!
