Does anyone know if getting married would definitely cause someone to lose SSI?

I'm on SSDI. It looks like the same problems with income apply.

IMPO being married is an infinitely better situation than any conceivable being single and receiving Disability. (I'm not married...)

I’ve been with the same person for many years and we plan on spending the rest of our lives together. I’m just debating whether it would be better to not get married so that I don’t lose benefits; especially, medical. I’m on Medicaid.

I’m on disability and could add my family to Medicaid I believe. Luckily my wife’s job offers insurance. It’s all very confusing and complicated. I ended up getting a lawyer. So far it’s been worth the $$$.
