hey everyone.

I left a post on here i think on wednesday, which im suprised i managed to do.

As some know on tuesday night I was rushed to ER with myoclonic status epilepticus.

This has never happened to me before, I have seen a few posts about it, and now I really know how absaloutly exhausting this is.

Aside from being exhausted this week, Ive had some small myoclonic jerks again (right side) coming in about 4/5 at a time.. and probaly happened about 4 times this week.

My body is still tingling, but this is getting much better as hte days go on.

What hapened to me was such a scary experience. I didnt realise how awful epilepsy can be, becuase Ive only ever had partial seizures apart from this week.

My medication has been increased to lamictal 300mg. 150 morning, 150 night.

I also now have valium, i think i mentioned that in my last post.

Saw my neuro, have been extremly emotional with episodes of tearfulness.

Managed to pluck up the strength to go to church yesterday morning and I cant asy how glad I am to see people. Its definatly made me realise how I love people and enabled me to show alot more affection and tell everyone the things ive always wanted to say without keeping a guard up.. and this is a good thing.

I just want you to know, I think I understand more of what some people go through on here, .. well alot after this experience.

Hopefully the tinglng will go away soon.. its almost like a prickling sensation, and I have also noticed before I have myoclonics I get very nauseas like Im going to throw up (gross I know)

Take Care all, and ty for reading my posts.

Sorry to hear that! :(

They really pump you up with drugs in the ER. Your body tingling could be a sign of high med levels.
