just resently for no reason i getting flash backs of random things long forgotton they come along when i not thinking and crystal clear as if happening in the present things 40yrs or more...it not normal i think it form of aura this never happen before,i also got nictine patch on i dont know if there a link..it like deja vu backwards

sounds scary. I get flashbacks, but they are sped up. the smells, the people and sometimes objects just pop in my head, I know that I know it/them I just don't remember what time period its coming from. My scariest episodes is seeing crap that aint there (things I aint never seen before). I think about it for 20 seconds, laugh, shrug shoulders and roll out!.

I hope someone here will be able to relate or give you advice. Good Luck and I hope it gets better. Perhaps the nicotine patch is messing with ya, are taking other meds? perhaps they don't go together, talk your dr's as well.

best wishes!

I get the same type of flashbacks as both of you. I'll get flashbacks that just run through my mind out of nowhere. It's odd.

I also get flashbacks of things that never happened, and I know that's a type of aura, because I get some other changes (heart rate increase, sometimes some nausea).

Also I wouldn't be surprised if the nicotine patch is having some type of influence. Nicotine is a stimulant, and using the patch is probably getting it into your body differently than smoking itself. But yeah, your symptoms sound similar to mine, and I'm 99% sure mine is seizure activity.
