Do you go to bed at the same time every night and get up at the same time? Keep your body on a schedule, even on the weekends and/or days that you don't work, if you work. This could make your body know when you should be asleep and when you should be awake. Don't take naps during the day.
Are you stressed out about something? You said it's been going on for only 3 days (I don't know if it's been longer now) so that can cause it. Stress is a big thing that makes me not want to sleep.
