Hello all. Anyone ever have experience with tegretol and fevers? I know the information on the medication says this is an adverse reaction, but my daughter had labs done last week and her dose was decreased...not for that reason. The last two days/nights, her temps have been 99-100. I'm thinking it's possibly just a bug as kids tend to spike temps at night. My better half thinks I should call into the drs tomorrow. I've called there already once this week for the med change. I feel kinda dumb calling in for that if there isn't a high incidence of it. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Better safe than sorry. Always call when in doubt and NEVER feel stupid thats why they are there... but Im guessing a bug. It is the season :)

i've been taking tegretol for two years and have had no problems, but talk to a doctor to see what it could be as it could be either of them
