I think it's time to step up the tempo with the 'fun' element in our lives.

So, tell me something you have done Today which was either fun, or funny.

It can be about anything (remember there are rules !!), so maybe something you experienced, maybe something you seen whilst you were out, something on tv, or just something that YOU done personally which made you laugh.

Now, who wants to start ?

I unknowingly embarrassed my brother's girlfriend in front of her entire class today (she's in pharmaceutical school). I'd let my facebook account sit for months and decided that today was the day I would update my info and load pictures. I put a picture of my brother and his new girlfriend in my holiday photo album and let the caption read-"They make such a cute couple!" I tagged his girlfriend in the picture and she received an alert on her classroom computer showing the picture and my caption. Another classmate saw it and exposed it to the entire class with a loud "Awwwww" I felt bad for embarassing her , but the timing was too funny! :roflmao:

I have a brilliant one too get the thread going

We have been laughing all day in the office, this is a classic.

As some of you are aware my boss was recently made redundant from work and last week we had an issue with mouldy prawns/shrimps being deposited in the office behind the drinking fountain leaving us with a nasty smell.

Well today we have had another nasty smell to contend with, it smelt like sick, it was really gross. Well we narrowed it down to the plants that my boss left behind. You wouldn't believe how bad they smelt. We can only think that my boss poured milk onto them when she left last week. I wondered why she didn't take the plants with her, now I know why, they were booby trapped.

We couldn't stand the smell, but none of us could be bothered to walk all the way round the factory to the compactor skip. Sooooooo I came up with a brainwave, the smell was unbearable so they had to be removed from the office, as they were making us all gag, so I placed them into my managers office (he wasn't on site today) and locked them in until the cleaners came round in the evening, because I thought that they might like the job of disposing of them.

I gave the plants to the cleaners tonight before I left work and now my managers office stink of disgusting, smelly, revolting, cheesey, sicky, MILK

Plenty good enough for him

:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

I exchanged some e-mails with some old friends today. We are going away for the weekend (just the guys). Nothing special, simply relaxing and having a good time.

Well this might sound boring to some but since my life pretty much revolves around my son, this is all I have. Being 14 months old, my boy is still in that cute chubby phase and after a big meal his belly becomes quite round and sticks out and we call it his buddha belly. Day before yesterday I taught him where it was and now when you ask him where his buddha belly is he lifts up his shirt and gets a huge grin on his face like "i found it!". It's very cute and I think it is pretty funny.

Spent the day redoing my Myspace profile - generation after generation, the females in our family must constantly be changing things!!

Just made a strange but tasty sufflee' (spelling) of eggs, milk, cheese, sardines in tomato sauce, mushrooms, spices, mustard, and spinach. Weird but really good and I think healthy???? I miss cooking, so bought a small sufflee'(???) bowl from someone for $2 and made enough for several servings in the microwave.

Fun - a peace-filled day - watching our cat run crazy all over the place (1 room). ZIGGIDYPOO!!!

Kelly,
I can totally relate to a world revolving around the baby!

Yesterday, my two year old held out his hand, cocked his head to the side, and said, "Hand me the phone Sweet Darlin'" :roflmao:

Where he came up with Sweet Darlin' at I'll never know!

I have aptly given my new cpap breathing masks nicknames: Miss Piggy and Gonzo. The Miss Piggy works the best. Gonzo has this long hanging tube that kind of droops like Gonzo's nose. The technician said a lot of people call that one an elephant (Dumbo??) . Personally, I think they should come with various colors and mimic interesting characters.

I know they look totally ridiculous, but I am wearing one every night this past week. The various masks that I tried on were so funny I couldn't wear them. I'd end up laughing with air blown up my nose. That felt weird. Ironically, I've felt dramatically better in the morning. Guess they're working!

I ran in the rain and jumped in puddles. Now I have a fire in the fireplace.
Winter in SoCA is fun

It's not funny..but it was sweet....
This morning, my hubby came home from work and snuggled up behind me. He ran his hand over my tummy to wake me up. (I'm preggo...so this was nice. :) ) He circled the belly button again, and paused again...this time smiling...then he did it again. By this time I was wondering why he kept stopping. I looked over and he had the biggest grin on his face. I said "what?", and he looked at me with this huge grin and said, "I think I just felt the baby move!"
It made my day to be able to share that moment with him. :)

Hey Skillefer I loved when my husband was able to feel Aiden moving. I always felt sorry for him that he didn't get to experience the feeling of him moving.

And to say I only made it "MILD"

Well - I learned one thing yesterday that was quite
humorous.

1) My son can eat a 5 alarm chili (just as I can), but
he cannot eat a Thai Shrimp soup (which was made
from scratch - and yes, I grow lemon grass) - which
ranks on the scale of a heat factor of maybe 2? Or
if someone wants to scale it on the Chili factor, it
would have ranked a 1.5 alarm?

2) I learned that his fiancee couldn't even bear to eat
it.

3) And I made it MILD! And I actually ate 2 bowl fulls
and then had another small one for snack!

:?

As for my son - he did eat one bowl, but his eyes were
about to pop out of the socket ... however, his fiancee,
ate 2 spoonfuls .. decided she had enough! And then tells
ME that wasn't Thai? I had to tell her that Thai Food here
has been too "Americanized" ...

:roflmao:

Was it not thai because you made it from scratch instead of out of a jar Brain?!

YUMMM Sharon,

THAI food is my absolute favorite...I need some of Speber's drooling Simpson icons. :agree:

If we lived closer, I'd be over for dinner!

I'm not picky...just give me the leftovers of what his fiancee didn't eat. (assuming she didn't spit in it) ;)

Wonder why he thought it was so hot? If he can eat REALLY spicy food?:ponder:

Do you make spring rolls? Pad Thai? Cashew nut chicken?...

It's official:
I did something fun today when I got to daydream of Thai food.:pop:

Do you make spring rolls? Pad Thai? Cashew nut chicken?...

Hey if she can cook these, hmmmm idea :ponder:
When I next visit, I will go off out with her son and Kim during the day and leave Sharon cooking dinner YuMMMMMMMMMMy

Today we had our long time "brother" friend rather come by today with two of his room mates and we decided to jam out in the studio. We showed them some new work we've been working on as well as one of them playing my keyboard and a little bit of work on the drums. At then end, they requested my twin and I do play a final peice before they left. We told them that it would be an improve song and we would make it up right there for them. They said go for it and we did. I played the drums using the keyboard and my twin played the elec. guitar on her synths/keyboard and then suddenly I cut the time in half and played twice the speed I had started out with which surprised her- but her being so quick with everything she caught up and no one realized that it was still improv time! So I contind the song in half time and was surprised that the key didnt break on it again lol.
We had a great time and enjoyed them being over playing music for a few hours. It made my Friday.

Today was the first day since I returned home from my VEEG that I had a belly laugh. Finally I seem to be finding my inner humor again. I read this hilarious blog and today was just too funny. Nice to laugh out loud again.

My husband surprised me by getting a house cleaner for the day. We have no money but I haven't been able to clean so it was timely and, in our opinion, totally worth it since I'm not back 100%.

This weekend I'm going to watch my son play hockey and I always love to do that...and hang with the crazy hockey parents.

So...I'm finally getting my groove back!
