Telling my teacher about my arm jerks?

So I haven't been to the doctors yet and as some might know I have been getting arm jerks that are a lot like myoclonic epilepsy. I am being tested soon so I hope I will have a diagnosis soon! In the mean time I am not sure what to tell my college lecturer. If something is in my hand when I have these arms jerks it is usually dropped or thrown across the room unintentionally and I don't want her to think its on purpose. She is a nurse so she will understand, and she's very big on privacy if someone wants it, but I just don't know how to tell her or what to tell her.

She sounds like she will understand.
I think the best thing to do is ask to have a private word and explain the situation as you just explained it to us, so that she understands properly what's going on.
Saves you getting bother if it does happen down the line
