Hi finalpoet,

I've been using the medical marijuana for over a yr. and I've had no problem with the THC and that's because it's only 1-2% in the medical marijuana
the rest is high in cbd which has really helped decrease my seizures a lot. I don't think THC would bother a person if they stopped because it's way to low compared to the cbd.
Here's wishing you well and if you want to find out more detail on medical marijuana go on You Tube and check out Dr. SanGupta "The Weed" this is how I learned all about it.
Wishing you only the Best and May God Bless You!

Sue

I've been an on again, off again recreational smoker for decades. Never had a seizure while actively smoking but I have had seizures during periods of being a regular user and times in my life when I've been abstaining.

Once I had an at home EEG and did a little experiment by smoking one time while hooked up. According to my results I had no unusual brain activity during that time except for some weird waves while sleeping each of those 3 nights.

I think it's an individual thing. It can be a trigger for some. In my case I'm ok. Please be careful if you don't know how marijuana personally affects you.

My answer to both of your questions is no. But that's just me.

I'm still uncertain. I've been smoking for years, but just in the last few years I smoke very little, holidays... etc. Point is, somebody told me maybe the THC is adding to my epilepsy or the withdrawal is. But idk.
