Lol well I just gave up exercising with weights...found out it does more harm than good (in the long run)...plus it's not really my main goal...which is to stay healthy with lean muscle mass...I just want to get ripped and toned not shredded and bloated...so I do a high intensity workout...a mix of calisthenics/cardio...plus it's more fun in my opinion...

All you really need is a good diet...exercise plan...and enough sleep...the hardest part is staying consistent because there are some days when you don't want to do **** or just feel like crap...oh well you do what you can :D


oh and bad backs run in my family so lifting heavy weights really isn't the best option for me lol

I haven't got back into weights yet, the only thing I ever really did was low reps at high weight of the Olympic squat to burn of aggravation to keep from having a seizure when dealing with family. I live in a apt now, so i havent done it in a bit. I use two bicycles now, one for cardio and one for weight now, just carry a large heavy bag now that's what I do in really life anyway. works fine.

tonight was pan seared fish and loads of veggies. the person below had fast food

I've been eating lots of eggs and spinach and beans and rice and cheese and chicken and beef and broccoli and berries and yogurt and bananas and tangerines...the list goes on...

A few guilty pleasure like peanut butter and dark chocolate and bread...BREAD...such an evil of which I am stopping once this loaf is finished...it's making me fat lol

and I did the opposite of you...low weight high reps

and dammit you made me want fast food lol

joint pain sucks but in my case i heal from it quickly, healthy joints, tore up body.

really no bread? I am actually trying to get fat, so different goals. I current weigh 160ish. if I can get back up to 180 I would be happy. but that would take something like 4 hours+ hard work on my bike, or 12 hours a week in the pool or just time in the pool with weights. which is a different shape, because that's lean and trim as all get out. because that works your lungs and opens your blood vessels WIDE

and yeah I'm not really sure if it's my joints that are suffering or something else but I always have aches and pains but I guess that's normal with any strenuous exercise you do...plus like I said earlier bad backs runs in my family so that doesn't help...I take fish oil as well as NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine)...I currently weight around 150...I like to bike (stationary) every now and then but I also like take walks at this lake we go to it's nice but too cold for that now...no pool here...god I feel like crap right now :(



Thinks foam rollers are awesome (they work wonders as well as tennis balls)
 
i love tennis balls and bags of rice (they work great as ice packs)

as soon as my last post i had a seizure and fell on my elbow so it hurts. how tall are you to weigh 150? my body doesn't like 150

Ummm I don't really think of them as "cartoons" more like "animated entertainment"...and it really depends...some I can watch/handle...other's are a bit too extreme for me like the ones loaded with special effects...those make me feel sick...so yeah it depends lol

and I'll have to try that with bags of rice...never thought of that thanks C0urt! :)

before I broke my shoulder yes, I am still debating getting back to that point,
i have a pinched nerve under my left shoulder blade that causes pain from jaw to my 4-5 fingers. if i rebreak my shoulder or make it worse i risk a limp arm at my side. part of the reason i am trying to put on weight, fat and muscle padding on my shoulder.

you are about 12 centimeters shorter than me. and i like anime to, there are a few other fans running around the site. the opening to akira is one of my favorites. but it also shows how old i am.
and yeah some of it gets way to hardcore for me.

Yeah I have broken some bones...smaller ones though...wrist and finger...

I do have some tendonitis in a few places though...sucks I get tight/tense really easy so I have to stay consistent with the stretching/massaging myself otherwise I'm miserable...I have mild scoliosis in my mid back...mostly I have pain in my lower back though but I'm guilty of sitting at my desk for several hours which doesn't help the genetic defect factor...

and you are 5'11"? I am 5'6"...right in the middle of where my mother and father (which is expected) are...mother is 5'4"...father is 5'8"

I like some anime but some I just can't get into...I'm picky lol

but yeah Dragonball will probably be my favorite "Japanese cartoon" forever...although I don't think it falls in the same category as "anime"...my wife likes watching Bleach...it's okay...I'll watch it with her sometimes...

and no I can't avoid tentacles because I have them :D
