I have had no problems with art. sweeteners (or at lease I don't think I do)
I use sweet & Low in DECFF. coffee and tea.

dring about 2 or 3 diet cokes a day.

Where is the problem?

Is this a trigger for some people and some it doesn't matter to others?

Aspartame becomes "aspartic acid" in the body. Aspartic acid (also known as aspartate) is a major neurotransmitter -- the kind that revs up your neurons -- so if you have a low seizure threshold it can push you over the edge.

Something similar happens with MSG and glutamatic acid, another major excitatory neurotransmitter.

Not every one is sensitive to the additives, but those who are or might be should stay away from both MSG and Nutrasweet.
