and it is a bit unpleasant. since last night, random muscles have been twitching on their own. some with hold themselves and it hurts. it is like i cant sit still, something is always moving.

I found out lat week while in the e.r. my insurance had just expired. so I am not sure what to do. apparently I look like I am about to fall over.

How quickly can you renew your insurance? And in the meantime, can you call your primary care physician for advice? If you don't have any prescription meds, there are over-the counter things that might help calm your system down such as valerian tea and melatonin. Sleep and eat as healthily as possible and avoid caffeine and artificial sweeteners. And when the twitching starts try doing steady deep breathing, with long slow inhales and longer slower exhales. I hope you can get on track soon.

I agree with Nakamova completely. In addition, here's a link that might help: http://www.epilepsy.com/epilepsy/drugassist_links

Here are some suggestions Bernard makes in http://www.coping-with-epilepsy.com/forums/f23/when-you-cant-afford-medication-1452/

The following resources can help you find drug assistance programs:

helpingpatients.org: from PhMRA (Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America), a database of programs and contacts.

The Medicine Program: An organization which helps patients, with help from the physician, enroll in patient assistance programs.

Needy Meds: Another organization which helps patients learn about patient assistance programs.

And in addition, I recommend plenty of hugs. (It works for me!)

Hope you're feeling better SOON!

thanks boys and girls.
I have some meds to get through the weekend. I am a still a little twitchy everything hurts, and I have a headache that I lack the words to describe. I hope to get my insurance stuff taken care of soon, the meds will be near $150 for the month. I originally planned on spending that money for bike parts so I have to hold off for a bit.
I have a doctors appointment in 2 weeks, but if things get worse I am going to just find an e.r.

I found out the reason I didnt get my script from the pharmacy refilled last week when I tried was because my doctor's physical location was was changing and they couldn't be reached by the pharmacy.

I actually had to go to the docs office, only to find a vacant office and directions to the new office. when I got to the new office it hadn't opened yet. was not scheduled to opened for 30 minutes so I got to hang out for a little bit.

took magnesium, B, and D for the first time last night. Really did not enjoy it. but I lived.
debating if i want to try it again tonight

called into my insurance comapny, it is going to be atleast 45 days, so a refill or to and hopefuly I dont have any seizures in public.

I called into California's blue cross phone line for my county today only to find out it is designed to hang up on you on purpose.
