I got it when I was put on an AED for my migraines. It was years ago, so I can't remember which drug I was on. I tried 3 different ones and that one was the worst for side-effects. I was out of breath walking up the stairs in my house and I was only 29 at the time!

I get tingling in my neck ,face, shoulders and arms. I dont know if I have E or not. So I dont know what it is from.

Tingling in the extremities can be a symptom of simple partial seizures.

I get "goosebumps" or the clinical name is Piloerction as my neuro had no ide what I was talking about..English is a 3rd language for him and goosebumps would be slang.

It feels like tingling but definitely is goosebumps which is a simple partial I am told..not as common though. I think its under "autonomic" part of simple partials.

BUT.. it could be somthing else.. like a neuropathy and you need to mention it to a doctor ok ??

Good luck in getting your answers..

Tingling in your extremities can be caused by lots of things ... epilepsy is one of them.
Most common cause is nutritional - vitamin deficiency. The transient nature ( episodes a year apart) suggests this. If you eat better you should get better.
Are you a diabetic ? diabetic neuropathy can manifest as glove-and-stocking distribution tingling and numbness. It would help if you mapped out the areas of the tingling.
As an extreme diagnosis , it could be a sign of a stroke.
Moral of the story : can't diagnose people off the internet. Go see your doctor and explain the symptoms in detail. Don't ignore neurological symptoms.

I get tingling through out my body.. = MS

I get "goosebumps"= seizures.

It gets confusing sometimes when you have both

I get tingling and numbness (neuropathy) as a result of long term use of dilantin (30 years) It can also be a sign of vitamin B-12 definciency.
See youy Doctor and get it checked out.

Yep...tingling in hands, feet and face for years...diagnosed as mild neuropathy.

Lamictal/ lamotrigine or trileptal made it a little worse.

Topomax has made it nearly constant in my feet.
