Oh and I wanted to add something to this.
If you are not on any kind of menstruation cycle control method eg. the Pill... it's harder to pin-point the cause or trigger of your particular type of seizure apparently. But because my wife has decided to go on the pill, she knows exactly where she is in her cycle - making it easier for her to determine whether it is possibly Type 1, 2 or 3 Catamenial Epilepsy.... or whether it has absolutely nothing to do with her estrogen levels.
I think i'm currently of the opinion that it might be better to be on the pill and know your cycle than to wonder: "is it ovulation based, or estrogen based".
