Ok, I do drive and something happened last week. I have to make daily bank runs on my job. I go the same way every day. I got pulled over and cop said I slowed down, but didn't come to a complete stop at the stop sign. I swear I always stop...but I actually cannot remember it. He said he had tape I could view....but I think he was lying....his car was not in position to view that stop sign.
So...did I zone out due to Keppra....was I not aware because something else was going on in my brain. I am curious to see the tape, but I am also scared and don't want to call attention to myself with cops.

As a past reserve Deputy I would say call him on it, if there is one thing I can't stand it is unethical Officers. We are to lead by example and hold ourselves to a higher standard. I know here locally that my training officer asked an out of jurisdiction officer for a speeding ticket (because he was speeding) the Officer refused and my trainer said that the lack of ethics I.E. cops giving cops breaks was wrong and hurt our credibility with the people we serve!

If you feel that you were ticketed unfairly I say hold the Officer accountable. However if your sure it was a seizure related infraction then do what you feel is ethical.

Here is an example of my enforcement ethic when my own dog got loose as an Animal Control Officer, I reported the incident to my employer and told the person who had my dog trespass that I was sorry, responsible and would happily except a ticket as I had broken the law by not confining my dog to my own yard. If I did not hold my self accountable I could not ethically hold others to the same laws I broke!

John Runer
