Anyone know of any interactions between the two? The reason i ask is because somehow just now, i managed to take two tramadol (50mg each) instead of two ibuprofen. I don't even know how! Some idiot put the tramadol in the first aid box (not in it's own packaging) and for whatever reason, i never noticed the different colourings. I'm on Lamictal and Keppra.

While we're on the subject - anyone else done something stupid like this? I'm on the phone to NHS direct now :paperbag:

Work's probably going to be more interesting tonight lol.

Well, just got off the phone, and they said that it shouldn't affect my E meds, but can cause nausea, dizziness, diarhoea and tiredness, and possibly confusion.

I already get the dizziness/tiredness/confusion combo anyway, so probably won't be much different lol. I feel like a bit of an idiot though.

Sooooo yeah. Anyone else as daft as me?

Oy lou...I hope it doesn't get too bad...I'd be wondering about the mix-up in the first aid box too!

I'm thankful that all of my pills are different shapes or this would happen to me frquently I fear :( I have to count everything several times to make sure I haven't dropped something somewhere between my pill bottles, my hand and my mouth. I've had to force my dogs to throw-up a couple of times for snatching my meds after I've dropped them :paperbag:

I'm doing ok. Been more spaced out and "floaty headed" than normal, but i think it's starting to wear off a bit now.

One of my clients at work went through my bag one day and got out my pillbox with my night dosages in. (one of those ones thats divided into 7 days) I came into the room just as she got them.

Luckily she just liked the sound the box made when she rattled it, but i'm glad none fell out or she would have thought they were sweets. That was a close call. I thought i'd put the bag out of her reach, and she never normally goes for anyone's possessions. That was months ago, and now i make sure my bag is out of her reach and that it has zips/buckles fastened up so she can't undo them.

Oh yeah - the tramadol didn't help with the original tummy pain that i actually wanted the ibuprofen for, lol. Didn't dare take any after that though :noevil:

Ibuprofen is supposed to be hard on the stomach isn't it? Or was the pain a muscle pain?

Stomach cramps lol. I normally find that ibuprofen helps with it to stop my muscled contracting horribly.
