Just curious if anyone knows whether a seizure can cause a pressure feeling around your eye right about where the sinuses are located above your nose, between the eyes. I get this odd feeling occasionally and I am unsure what it is. I usually feel lightheaded when it happens..

Do you have any allergies or sensitivities? Sometimes an allergy-like reaction to environmental irritants can cause the blood vessels in the nose to dilate, and/or cause swelling and pressure.

Not that I know of.

I did have a similar problem about a year ago. When I went to the eye doctor to get a new eyeglasses prescription, the doctor discovered that I had astigmatism in my right eye. She asked if I had any pain around the eyes, and I told her about the symptoms (sinus pain & pressure/headaches/lightheaded). Now I have glasses for astigmatism, and I also take a lutein / zeaxanthin supplement (24 mg lutein / 5 mg zeaxanthin). My symptoms have mostly gone away since then.

Moral of the story: If you haven't had an eye exam in a while, you'll need to visit the doctor to rule out any eye conditions.
