Well, I have an offical Dx of Seizures

Went to the neuro yesterday for a follow up visit. I had my seizure diary in hand and he read the first two entries and said what med are you on?

He pulled out my EEG and looked at it, we went over it. He told me I was having seizures from the parietal, temporal and frontal lobes.

I also have MS and he is the neuro I see for that and he is not a seizure specialist....do you all think I need a seizure specialist?

It depends. There are a lot of very good neurologists who can treat epilepsy and do a good job. Some people have cases that are harder to treat, or the local neurologists do not understanad epilepsy. In that case, an epi is a good idea.

So it's up to your judgement on what you do. Since you have MS it might be nice to have one neurologist treating both. Are you comfortable with how your neuro is handling things?

Hey Daisy.. hugs ~!

I had a neuro who diagnosed both seizures and MS. But since I have complications with medications with a kidney problem, he suggested I get a video/EEG in a hospital and to consult with specialists in both areas.

I now have 2 really nice specialists, one for MS, one for E.

Now I wont have to see the original neuro. But..that's me.

Good luck with everything. What meds are u on for E and for MS?
I start shots in July.

If your MS doc isn't comfortable with e stuff, then it's definitely worth getting a doc who is. One advantage of an epilepsy specialist is their familiarity with meds and side effects.
