Going for a four and half day EEG (it's called Telemetry over the pond here); Already been in once for the same thing, and nothing happened - they did try sleep depriving me but not until the last night and they cut down my medication down, believe at the begining.
Aside from trying the sleep deprevation thing from the beginning and will be having the discussion about reducing meds from the start, (have been told not to play with until in hospital by the Nurse who booked me in)
Does anyone have any Good (and serious) suggestions about the best way to cause a seizure (never made a connection with any triggers!)

Really! thank you in advance for suggestions.

Sorry to hear that you are having to go through with this again.
The sleep deprivation and slowly tapering off my meds has always worked for me. Stress is a trigger for me as well.
That’s a tough question, just try and stay busy until the day.
I’ll keep thinking about it. Best of luck. 🤞

Hello. I also think possibly lowering the amount of your AEDs may be the easiest way to help trigger a seizure during the Video EEG. If mental stress/tension are known triggers, maybe you could do something that involves a lot of concentration/"brain strain" (or that know tenses you up) shortly before going in.
Sleep only becomes a seizure-causing issue if I'm up very late for2-3 consecutive nights--EVEN IF I get the 6-6.5 hours of sleep I need prior to waking up each day. I generally sleep from around 10 or 10:30pm to 4 or 5am. I'll often have nights when I fall into SUCH a deep sleep that I'm wide awake after 4 hours!! The AEDs' "drowsiness affect" no longer affects me.

I would follow along with the information given by your medical professional team. That's my personal opinion on the issue.

Something that has impacted me in the past and still does have an issue every so often are when strobing lights get seen. I remember when I would see police or ambulance vehicles quickly by the house with their strobing lights blaring there could be times a seizure begins. Other strobing lights can cause an effect such as those from fireworks or those type lights that are used at a concert.

Heat is a very large factor with me, when it gets too warm I will go into a seizure. If I stayed up for a long period of time without getting the right amount of sleep that could cause a seizure to take place for me. I learned that lesson a long time ago when trying to work an executive job that had very long weekly hours.

The above is my experience .
