Sorry, I have no idea why they change anything. It sure is a problem though. Curious if you were warned by your neuro. We had a situation with Trileptal where the FDA increased the risk factor, and it was taken off of the market, by the main manufacturer, until they could get new packaging I guess. I wasn't called by the neuro. I had to find this out when I went in for a refill. I couldn't get it.
I think the one perscribing should have to let you know of the latest changes, and why.
They are certainly paid enough to make a phone call.

That is my opinion.
