In a little over a month I'm going to be getting a SEEG. The neuro told me some about it and I've read about it on the internet. I was wondering if anyone else has had one?

One thing I wanted to know is do they have to do any type of shaving and does it leave any sort of scar.

I had one done last January. It’s very similar to what you just went through. I didn’t find it particularly painful. It is just very uncomfortable.
I don’t have much hair left anyway so I’m not sure about that.
Best of luck 🍀

Hello. I've also been thinking about having an SEEG done--my neurologist wants it. The major issue I'm having is cost. Even with our insurance, my copay for it would be well over $3000. I'm STILL paying off the $1400 out-of-pocket portion for my VEEG from 2023!! (The only good part is that there's no interest on the amount as I pay it off directly to the hospital).
