It's summer here and so far we've had a nice summer.
By this weekend it's predicted be very hot for most of the rest of that week.
With temps being I'm the low 40 Celsius

Winter blast scheduled to hit me in about 4 hours. I think I'm ready for it.

This is the worst storm this winter! We are supposed to get up to 24 inches of snow by Monday morning with
snow coming down 2 inches per hour. I shoveled off the porch, but you wouldn't even know I did a darn thing.
Oh Well one day closer to spring.

Until last night they thought the area we live in near Chicago would only get 3-6 inches of snow. The snow hasn't stopped since it started. We cleared our driveway once this morning, when there about 4 inches. We've had at least 2 inches more, & it's looking like we'll get more.

We got it, but sleet and freezing rain. Tomorrow will be above freezing for a few hours and I’m so ready for a thaw. Been nice having a long weekend though. 🤪

Storm spared us the worst. No frozen pipes or streets. Just really cold.

Get ready we may be getting hit again this weekend for another Northeastern winter storm and NOAA is stating
that this storm is going to be worse with a lot more snow up the east coast. Let's hope it goes out to sea.

Wishing all of you only the best and May God Bless You,

Sue

Still cold here, with some lake effect snow, 2-3 inches. The Indiana area got it worse--10 inches, in some areas! It will finally be "warmer" later this week--in the mid-upper 20's.

I woke up to about 3 inches of snow today Feb 1st but now NOAA.gov is stating that Feb. is going to be a long
polar vortex month with a lot of storms on the east coast and on this Friday we are going to get hit in NY.

This is one time where television really fails to capture the true excitement of a large squirrel predicting the weather.

Well it's 25 below 0 here today and did I have fun at 7:30 am shoveling the driveway. The winds are 45 mph at the high
end. I hope none of you have to deal with this bitter cold weather like I am.

Three weekends in a row with ❄️
Coldest winter in years. I’ve been defrosting my firewood before burning it. 🤪

It's like the opposite on the west coast this year. Hasn't been cold at all. So far not a flake of snow in Vancouver. Even in the mountains it has been pouring rain, melting what little snow there was. That's not going to be good for forest fire season this coming summer... We'll probably get early water restrictions this year. That being said, it is still February, anything can happen! We usually get a freak snowstorm in late February or March.

The meteorologists are saying that in the next few days the pattern will be reversed. It will become much warmer in the Chicago area, & cooler on the Pacific coast.

Honestly, we can use some cooler weather here. I mean, I like warmer weather as much as anybody, but winter is supposed to be cold. We need some snow on the mountains here.
