UNFORTUNATELY, we're expecting more severe weather later today. It is raining heavily right now

Ridiculously cool for June--the highs ALL WEEK will only be in the upper 70s. They SHOULD be in low to mid 80s. Tomorrow will be rainy again

It was cooler than normal again, but slightly warmer.
Starting this Saturday/Sunday, it will FINALLY feel like summer again, with temperatures around 90 degrees.

We're under an Extreme Heat Warning EVERY DAY through Thursday!
I keep recalling Chicago's "steam bath summer" of 1988, & the heatwave in 2012. The 1988 summer sticks out because 2 years earlier I had spent the summer with relatives in Pakistan--it was hotter HERE in 1988 than it had been there in 1986!

We have rather calm weather at 80degrees, but wind everyday for the last few days, I stay in the house with curtains closed most of the days. The gusts have been between 40 and 45 mph. Suppose to improve in the next couple days. Son is in the midwest with 113 degrees with humidity figured into the temp.

Wednesday it was 114 degrees and today they are predicting 110 degrees and very humid. The fun part of
this was the water line broke on Wed. and we went over 8 hrs. with no water in our home.

So sorry to hear that. Anything over 90 and I’m uncomfortable.
The Blizzard was only 4 months ago 😅

Heat and no water...no fun. We actually had no wind and just temperate at 78 degrees. Son still dealing with the St Louis weather heat and humidity with real feel temperature of 113.

Over the previous 3 days it's been raining TOO much. Our area had approximately 6 inches of rain in total! The WORST was Friday afternoon. SEVERE thunderstorms came through, with extremely strong winds--it made the rain appear to come down horizontally! Many shingles were ripped off of our roof, & a large section of our fence was blown in. A tree next to it was partially split, but fell away from the fence.
