Valleys

I've noticed sometimes when Ive posted I've had to edit because I've actually been looking at the wrong page like pg 154 instead of the most recent one. Check the page number, also occasionally people who are posting at the same beat you to it by seconds.. All those posts between darkness and your migraine were all four hours ago I think you all posted at the same time :)

Let me give you a little background info. on me: I just turned 50 and have been on Dilantin since I was 22 for a severe brain injury, so I am very low in Vitamin D and iron. Now - the question: I've been having this problem for over a year now: every month, or every other month, when I get my period, I get severe cramps in my lower right side & I throw up. Always. I went to an OB/GYN who had a hystero-ultrasound done & says that nothing was wrong. My regular doctor sent me to have a colonoscopy done, but that turned out ok, too. I swear - I'm not making this up! I know that Dilantin can cause damage to the liver. When everything swells up down there, could it be pressing against it, or the gallbaldder or something? It's like my body feels like it has to do #2 and throw up at the same time! So it decides to throw up for days - even sips of water! Does any other female have this problem? Is it part of pre-menopause that I just have to deal with? Could it be an ovarian cyst and I should get an opinion from another OB-GYN? Or could it really be something else? Thanks alot - I really appreciate your help.

Hi TheresaA, I would definitely seek the opinion from another OB/GYN if the problem is persisting. The thread that you posted your problem in is not going to reach very many members who can offer the advice you are seeking, as this thread is a game that we play. I would suggest doing a copy/paste and posting your question in one of the other threads that will attract other members who can adequately answer you. Your problem is one that should get the attention it deserves. :) Good luck and I sure hope you start feeling better soon!
