does anyone else get the feeling it is something someone is doing it TO you?

I have a recurring theory about dejavus- that they come from that the brain gets knocked out, so when we're recovering, the brain knows memories were there - and tends to fill in current events AS memories if they're close enough in characteristics?

I'm a little proud of myself though because I had the T-C when I was on the DART train going north to Plano to visit my girl-friend, and as such, I was totally alone... yet I wound up at a hospital with family near.

lately I vaguely recall them finding my med-alert wallet card and getting my stuff from me to strap me on to the gurney etc.
but at the time that shit is scary as hell still

does the ictal period ever get easier to deal with?
not only does it suck, but being woken up from my nice slumber wherever I was every couple minutes really sucks
but frankly, going to the hospital via paramedics is better than being around my mom while I'm ictal

So sorry peter, hope you can shake this one off (and eventually make it up to see your girlfriend).

I've found the quality of the post-ictal hangover depends a lot on my general health at the time of the seizure. If I'm sick or tired or dehydrated or hungry when I have the seizure, then it takes longer to bounce back from.

I'm glad I have been eating better lately.
I wonder if my upping the caffeine to counteract the zzzzs of my new haloperidol Rx had much to do with it... certainly something to do with it

what did help this time is the quality of trust I found myself able to place in the organization of the groups handling me
much easier to drift back to sleep etc.

not only does the preictal time (diet, etc.) matter in triggering the seizure, the postictal is dependent on the ictal periods of compromised consciousness to me

after a day I'm on track back to feeling normal
I'm making sure to take in the food, calories, vitamins, minerals... and the Advil...

nakamova i have just now started noticing that with mine and sorry peter that it happened to you,bet u were looking forward to it and moms want to help but sometimes just irritate love em to death mean well also.

and my mom just decided to inform me that any trust that sustained from my seizure experience (the first one I experienced while "alone") has been destroyed by her calling my prospective girlfriend while I'm unconscious

I'm sorry Peter, about your mom. :(

My mom and I have never gotten along. But y'all might...want her? Lol.

Feel better soon. ***hugs***.
