My psychiatrist is considering having me on wellbutrin first. I suggested dexamphetamine. After I let him know wellbutrin was known for seizure risk and I didn't conclusively know if I had epilepsy, he was going to contact my neurologist (I told him that I saw the neuro at his hospital.)

My epilepsy isn't clear yet. As stated in my latest report:

"EEG Normal"
"Could be complex partial epileptic seizures. But could also be borderline-psychosis. Who knows. We should probably do a video EEG?"

Except my psychiatrist doesn't think I have any psychotic features. If I were having fake seizures as a delusional/hallucination thing, he'd probably have noticed by now. He's a smart man. I trust him.

For any of you who have tried either or both (wellbutrin, dexamphetamine), are both likely to cause seizures? I'm not sure wellbutrin will be effective for my adhd; considering my adhd diagnosis report/cert said "severity: very severity" (literally!)

Cheers,
Anna
