Hi,
My daughter has been having episodes where she just closes off for a bit for months now. I have tried to write them off with other explanations, which due to a pause in the episodes after questioning her about it made it easier to do. But lately its gotten to the point where I can no longer deny it. So last night I researched it and came across childhood absence epilepsy which sounds like exactly what she has. I will take her to go see a dr for a referral so i can confirm whether this is the case or not, and to see a specialist, but was just wondering if anybody else has had experience with this as i'd like some information, some advice from those with experience, and to ask some questions.
Thanks,
Nancy
