People should learn their first aid & not be ignorant.

Also, in regards to friends..
Genuine friends stand by you no matter what, so there will be people who will come & go, & it wasn't meant to be.

Also, you learn to get tougher, but I think people with challenges end up being better people & should really understand that NOBODY has it perfect.

Personally, I prefer to be called a person with a "seizure condition".

I find that it clears up the "stigma" issue around epilepsy and it seems more acceptable to others. It's that plain and simple.
 
I'm not thrilled with the term; also preferring "seizure disorder". I also wish the word "fits" would go away. Calling seizures "fits" makes me think of a child kicking and screaming because they're spoiled.

Yes. Yes I do. It's like calling someone "gimp" or "cripple". :/ Just rude.
