I know this has probably already been posted a million times so I apologize...
Had an EEG this morning.
Once the strobe got up to the rapid speeds my whole brain started swishing from side to side to the point I felt nauseous and I gripped the sides of the bed.
Tech asked if I was ok and I said I felt like I was in a boat being rocked violently side to side and was sure I was going to fall off the bed. It persisted for minutes after the strobe was done too. Then he went into the hyperventilation thing and I am reminding myself now that I will never do another EEG!!!!
Anyway, does that sound fairly normal? I did a search and found some old posts here about feeling dizzy and tired after an EEG. But feeling like you're about to be rocked off the bed? It was very unsettling! I don't know a soul who has done an EEG before so I have no one else to ask!!!
