I have been feeling like a seizure could come, but it doesn't.

I have not had the déjà uv.

I called my Neur. left message. I got a return call, saying I didn't need to call unless I have a seizure.

Is this a type of seizure?

I've always been told by neuros that auras are a kind of simple partial seizure, and that even a slight aura is considered seizure activity. What does it feel like?

I would just take it easy and stay somewhere safe. Couch, bed, floor ect.
whenever i feel something serious is coming, i lay on the couch, try to relax and watch a movie. There's alot of good stuff on Netflix :)

This is going to be hard to explain.

I am not having deja uv. this is what through was an aura.

I feel scared, like something is going to come behind me, then the feeling is gone. I don't have a seizure. THIS went on all day, after I. called my Neur. and she don't call unless I have a seizure, I just took another Dilantin and the feeling stopped.

As Josie says, the feeling of fear/anxiety can be a kind of simple partial seizure. It doesn't always mean that a bigger seizure is on the way. Your neurologist may have meant that you shouldn't call unless it becomes a bigger seizure. I hope you took your regularly scheduled Dilantin dose -- not an extra one. It's a bad idea to take the Dilantin on an as-needed basis, or to double up on a dose.

Before I get a seizure, I get a feeling of fear, or sadness.. sometimes both... then I get this feeling like something just isnt right... by the time I know whats going on, my heart begins to race, I get sick to my stomach, and my head turns to the right, I stiffen and start to jerk. They last a minute or so. But I would say those are auras that you're experiencing.

Thanks, I'm so embarrassed that I can't seem to get this stuff down.

I thought that déjà uv and auras were the same thing.

NAkomava, I know NOT to take extra Dilantin, but I did this time after I called my Neur,
It wouldn't stop, and she had told me my levels were low (11)
I had to go the next day for another Dilantin level which came back at (16) .

Didn't mean to scold! I just hope you are feeling okay, and not over-doped.

Don't ever feel like you are scolding me, I know you care each and every person on this forum.

It's funny, I've gotten this a few times, but I've always assumed it was anticipatory anxiety. I feel like I've been hypervigilant about sensations in my body since all of this has happened and I interpret sensations that I would have never given a second thought.

Either way, it's uncomfortable and I'm sorry this is happening to you. :(

Thats no good, and I hope this fades away. Sometimes the auras bother me more then the seizure itself. But I swear some of the auras were small seizures because id feel the after effects of the seizure, but no seizures. Kind of a blip of time that got wonky, that was when the seizures were pretty well controlled, but it is really frustrating.

When that happens I just do my best to be in a stress free relaxed environment. I always let my mind cool down until I know im in the clear. Feel better friend!

how to talk to my doctor

I feel like I've been having absence seizures. And I've also been having this annoying ringing sound or high pitch buzzing sound in my ears that don't nobody else hears them wen I do. How do I talk to my doctor cause the last time I talked to her I told that I hear these weird sounds and theory are very high pitched and she didn't do anything bout it. What should I do? It also happens while I'm driving.

I think this is one off the most annoying things about having epilepsy.Having auras that develop into full blown tonics and then having the same bloody aura a few months later, that then results in nothing.Sometimes it's like E is just taking the pure bloody piss out off me,it really does my head in.

That's wats been happenin. I feel weird and I think that its goin to come and nothing. My husband told me that the other nite I had 4 seizures while I was sleep. It scared him real bad. But I don't know how to tell my doctor.
