I had an appointment with a NFB specialist for June 2, but she was lax in returning phone calls. I made 3 calls to her, all unreturned. This appointment was setup about 4 weeks ago through voicemail, as she would call me back when I was busy at work. She said she was going to pencil us in for this 3-hour-long appt. but didn't tell me what she was going to do during those 3 hours. I call back, and left 3 messages and have yet to have her return them. It is another one of those stressful weeks, thankfully no seizures, but other stressors, so I cancelled that appointment and scheduled 10 appointments with a NFB center by my work. It will take more effort in getting my son there, but at least they answer the phone!
Have I told you I really hate it when my calls aren't returned? I think I give more than ample time for someone to return my calls, and I'm not a pest about it. I'm way too busy to be calling someone all day long.
So the good news is, I'm going for the intake appt. next Friday. I don't have to bring my son, so I won't have to drive all the way home, get him, and drive all the way back. Their office is 10 minutes away from my office. He starts his sessions the following Tuesday. I'm really praying this helps him with his focus, concentration, memory, anxiety, and finally, SEIZURES!
