The first person asks a question that starts with, " have you ever?"

So, have you ever been to hawaii

And the n the next person answers either yes or no, depending on if they've ever been to hawaii, and leaves a new question for the next person and so on.

(You can feel free to explain your experiences if you'd like!)

So I will start

Have you ever been caught in the rain?

Yes.
(Canada counts. I looked it up 😆)

Have you ever worked in a restaurant?

Yes. It was a local Italian place. I didn't cook or serve, but I did do the dishes. Had a magnet on the trashcan to make sure the silverware didn't get thrown away lol. We essentially just had to get the food (especially cheese) off the dishes so that the dishwasher wouldn't cook the food onto the dishes nor clog up the dishwasher. We still did the three sinks of wash, rinse and sanitize, but the dishwasher really got them sanitized. One night was really fun because the hot, sanitary dishwasher broke down and everything had to be done by hand with a lot of elbow grease. Then of course the dishwasher itself was fun since it got VERY hot in order to sanitize. Well it would quickly remind you of that if you touched it lol

Have you ever been in a combat zone?

No.

I imagine it's super scary too

Ever eaten sandwiches on a beach?

No. But I did go to the beaches on Lake Superior a lot.

Have you ever been camping (with a tent & sleeping bags)? We used to a lot during the summer when I was a kid--before we moved to the Chicago area. I'd often tell my parents that our family vacations ended when we moved here. The summer wouldn't fully start & phone calls from family members would begin with their arrival dates. By the time all the hosting/entertaining would be over, so would summer vacation! To make it worse, because my bedroom had a queen size bed it, I always had to give it up. I often joked with my parents that I have a hotel, not a bedroom.

Yes, used to with my parents
They still do but now use a caravan

Have you ever been in a helicopter

I have seen one, but I didn't go in it.. I hate heights. scared of them. So much so i can't actually say the words connected to it..

(You are fine that you used the H word here. it's okay)

Have you ever been on a tour of a museum

Yes
I had a seizure in the Isabela Gardner Museum in Boston. Famous for its 1990 art heists. Security was there pretty quickly. 😅

Have you ever gotten a speeding ticket?

No. probably because most of my traveling is either through walking, (I live in a city so close to most things), or pubbblic transport.

Have you ever ridden a horse

Yes
My son is an equestrian rider and we own a horse named Felix. I’ve been on a horse, but they scare me.
(I realized my driving ? was slightly inappropriate for here 😞)

Have you ever gotten a tattoo?

No--unless you want to count what people have been calling "temporary tattoos" (henna). Using henna is normal in our culture. When I was younger, I used to laugh when people would see pictures of my decorated hands & ask if I'd burned them😄.

Have you ever ridden a roller coaster? I LOVE them, have NEVER been afraid of anything about them. Now, my sons & husband keep/prevent me from riding them--I miss it a lot!

You're fine.

I can't speak for everyone but I'm honestly okay about it. Don't worry.

I would honestly love to get a tattoo. My pain levels are extremely low though and I know I wouldn't be able to cope with it which is sad.

I mean, one day in the future, who knows. I've had someone say to me once if you really want something, your fears don't feel so bad. I don't know how true that is, but I suppose it's something to bear in mind..

Have you ever written poetry?

I've sat in one but I've not actually been on it while it's moved.

It's a height thing

I mean it does make me wonder why I struggled to get myself in to the seat just to get out of it again, but then I guess that's just me. I just wanted to feel what it was like sat in one

I prefer slower things that aren't going to make me scared. If I know it won't go high, I'll try it. Learned that lesson the hard way

I got a tattoo 2 weeks ago. Super cute...well I think so.

Have you ever picked fruit from a tree or vine?

Yes--I have many pepper, tomato, zucchini, and okra plants in my backyard

Have you ever had a pet?

We had a parakeet, which flew away last summer while my husband was washing its cage. I've told him he HAS to replace it

On my own, no

But as a family, we have had rabbits, a dog, Hamster and budgie

I'd like to own a cat one day... sort of a bucket list thing, but if I do is another thing entirely. We live close enough to a cat adoption place, it's just something not in the immediate plan I guess. Not right now anyway
Have you ever had a dream so real, that you woke up feeling you were still in the dream?

Lots. Vivid dreams are a side effect of lamictal and I love them.

Have you ever accidently dropped a can on your toe? I was grabbing a can of green beans from the pantry and down it went - hurt like hell!!

No. I do imagine it hurts, though

Have you ever looked forward to buying something, only to buy it and it's a bit of a disappointment?
