Yes--especially now that many clothing stores I love are no longer my immediate area, & so there's no way to easily see/try an item before buying it.

Have you ever given up a hobby? I stopped collecting stamps because figuring out the value was difficult. Trying to sell them is even more difficult
 
I can't think of anything off the top of my head.

I am not sure I am willing to call collecting forign coines a hobby, especially as I just liked it when people gave me them to look at when they got back from their travels

It was more a souvenir, less a hobby.

Have you ever sang in pubblic?
 
Yes, when I was in year 5 Queen Elizabeth 2 and her husband came to Australia and came to my town.
One class from the local primary schools were chosen to perform. My class was was chosen. Half the classes had to sing and the other half had to dance. 2 children gave the Queen flowers

My class sang, it was a big thing as it was on tv etc.

Have you ever held a snake

It must have been awesome to meet her.

Yes, I have held a snake, and it surprised me that they aren't as slippery as people think they are

Yes I was 11 and remember not wanting to do it. My mum kept saying it was an honor
 
No, never won a contest--came in 2nd place, though
I've held a snake. When I was 5, some of my friends had one as a pet. I'd hold it & chase my mom and sister (she was 2)

Have you ever driven a car?
 
Many. Currently drive a Mazda Cx5.

Have you been to a heavy metal concert?
 
No, I'm not enttirely sure I'd enjoy it

Heaviest stuff I'd consider listening to is something like linken park which isn't really metal

Yes, I saw parades when I was younger.

Have you ever been camping?
 
Yes
Raised our kids towing a pop-up camper for vacations and holidays. . Between campsites and relatives yards we got a lot of use out of it.

Have you ever seen a space shuttle launch?
 
No... but I would love to do that!

Well, that, and talk to aliens. I really hope that they discover lifeforms on other planets in my lifetime. To be honest, I think they all ready have, they are just struggling to comunicate with them.

Have you ever been so sick of AEDs & their side effects that you think "I'd rather just live with the seizures"? I've often felt like that
 
Oh yes, for sure. More often than I care to admit actually

Have you ever seen an animal in the wild?. (I'm talking lion, tiger, something you would never get as a pet)
 
I've seen buffalo & bears on our trips to the western US--Yellowstone, Yosemite, etc.

Have you ever used power tools? I did when my husband & I finished the basement of our house
 
I imagine I have at some point, but I don't remember (or at least at this moment, nothing is coming to my mind) though actually at the moment nothing of much is coming to my mind..

Have you ever given to a charity?

OMG - Lamictal dreams drive me nuts. Sometimes I can't wait for morning.
 
Yes - I've donated to Epilepsy Alliance in Ohio many times.

Have you ever flown a plane?
 
Yes! My father in law owned a two seater Cessna plane. He took off and landed, but I got to steer for a while. He had to keep reminding me to go down a little. Going up felt much better. He later joked, that if I had let go it would have just gone straight.

Have you ever been to a NFL game?
