Well, I had a seizure (tonic clonic) when my son was 2.5weeks old. I was holding him as I was about to give him a bottle. I was not aware of anything during the seizure unlike all others were i've gone into a tonic clonic seizure yet still been able to hear conversations, or at least parts of them. Anyway with this particular seizure I didn't remember anything when I woke up. The paramedics were there and said 'you are lucky you didn't drop the baby, you must have known to hold onto him'. I was very confused and when asked what day it was I became very upset because I didn't know but then they asked if I knew the prime minister's name and I got excited and screamed out 'John Howard' - that one I knew LOL.
So, to make a long story at least a little shorter do you think that in all that confusion and loss of consciousness that I could have possibly have 'known to hold onto him?' That was my scariest seizure ever because it worried me thinking about what could have happened - not to me but to my son. Mind you he is 7.5years old now and perfectly fine. He's a bit of a rough nut so we think that perhaps being thrown around a bit turned him into a daredevil lol j/k but I really believe God was watching over him that night.
