Well lets see.Hmmm ,since iam under 21 and live in the great country of California where the age of any thing starts at 21 and over I can only assume your asking this because you want to get stoned after your 21 st birthday or earlier ?????if you mix drugs of any kind it will bite you in the butt sooner or later...Also, your latest avatar is somewhat offensive...sorry if I seem alittle harsh but some of my E problems are stemed from over usage of drugs ty...;

more so, if you have to ask, the answer is yes.

Huh? It was a question for this weekend with my friends actually....

And I don't see how my age or any of what you said in the red was really relevant. Also I believe California is a state not country.

it was meant in a joking sense, a lot of people refer to california as a country sometimes because of the choices the state makes.

Hi hon,

When my kids (the tons that I work with) ask me what triggers seizures I tell them pretty much EVERYTHING!

I genuinely believe this to be true. If you look at the typical triggers for a lot of people, lack or sleep, alcohol, stress, low blood sugar, dehydration etc. We have a thread going at the moment about HEAT being a trigger.

My pharmacist wouldn't sell me an over the counter antihistamine (hay fever med) for fear it would react with my meds.

There was also an awful YouTube vid doing the rounds of a young person with diagnosed epilepsy doing a hit on a bong and going into a full tonic clonic.

I would respectfully suggest to your friend that doing cannabis with epilepsy isn't worth it.

Keep safe.

Note taken, although I don't think a little would hurt, just want to try it for the first time.

Definitely shouldn't mix recreational drugs with prescription drugs, at least not without the prescribing doctor knowing about it. They're human, too, and if you point-blank you're going to try it, they may have some helpful advice. I don't condone use of drugs, but if you are going to try it, at least make sure you are in a safe place and not alone in the event you do have a seizure.

I'm not going to say
Hey is it safe for me to do weed to my doctor?

Why not? At the very least he may say something along the lines of "I strongly encourage you not to, however if you are going to anyway do the following . . . " I say this only because I sense you ARE going to anyway, so at least get some medical advice on how to smoke this in a safe way.

It's a she*

And I am trying to show my doctor I can be responcable so I can FINALLY get my drivers liensce so asking about weed wouldn't be a logic action

You've thought of all the reasons to not smoke the drug on your own. The smartest thing you can do is to be the responsible person you want to show the doctor you are :)

I told her I was drinking earlier and that I stopped that's all she needs to know :(

Hello Azusa

I understand what you're asking and I also know what it's like being under 21. I was in your shoes once, only without the epilepsy diagnosis.

For me, the 2 big T/Cs I had were within a 4 month span when I was 39 and came out of nowhere.

The 1st one came during a month I was smoking regularly. That 2nd one happened during a time I was obtaining so I don't think its a trigger for me. I occasionally partake still and haven't have any issues with this or alcohol, knock wood. I'm lucky and have no problems, however, it can certainly be a trigger for others. Just listen to your body. Like you, I certainly wouldn't tell my dr, it's illegal where I'm from.

I'm not condoning you breaking any laws nor am I condoning underage use.

Please be careful.

Well like I said before I told her about the drinking and she said that's a big no no
But nothing happened I even drank the next day and nothing happened so maybe it isn't a trigger?

I really wish there was a way to tell than I would stop wasting time and wasting your guys time and partying

Totally get being young and wanting to try new experiences. But am also hearing that you really want to drive and would hate the he's experience of smoking pot to be the thing that prevented you from getting a license.

We don't know what will trigger seizures in us, we're all individuals and the drinking thread shows a huge range of attitude to risk and individual tolerance.

But for what it's worth hon, I think that the freedom of passing a test and being able to drive would be a far better legal 'high' than all the Mary Jane you could smoke.

Well If I can keep my friends from calling 911, no problem... Right?

:agree: I deleted the Hun part though.:roflmao:

Any seizure brought on when illegal drugs have been involved should warrant a trip the emergency room.

Which is another consideration would you want your friends to have to explain circumstances to ambulance personnel.
