I was put on Zonisamide in Feb this year, everything was fine and no seizures til May when they came back but I went to see my GP as it was 4 weeks before my wedding and my Zonisamide was increased from 200mg daily to 300mg daily by my GP.
Things then settled back down and I enjoyed my wedding day and honeymoon to Blackpool with no seizures. Unfortunatly things haven't lasted that long since the honeymoon before the seizures started. My hubby and I have noticed that the seizures are getting a lot stronger and longer. I only got diagnosed 9 months ago and I don't lose concious but my whole body starts to shake violently. At least the focal form of my Epilepsy is behaving.
My hubby should have been working a couple of sundays ago but he had to call in sick to look after me as I had started with seizures earlier that day and I was seizing for 14 hours , had 3 hours sleep then started the next day
Every day last week I was seizing for 6/7 hours everyday. I'm not due to see my neuro til 20th August as he's away at the moment I just don't know what to do for the best now as I'm exhausted and don't know how much longer I can carry on like this
