I've had double vision for over 7 years. It's gotten worse and worse through the years to the point that I've been having it almost once a day, sometimes twice. Two of the triggers that I noticed seem to cause it the most are being tired or worn out and going from being really warm to suddenly getting cold. A good bit of times it will happen when I get out of a bed warm bed (and not giving myself time to completely wake up), then suddenly taking a warm/hot shower, and then going into a cold room. I try to avoid doing these things but it's easier said than done at times. It will come on out of no where too.
A little over a week ago my contacts were bothering me so I took them out and put on my glasses. Since I've been wearing my glasses I haven't had double vision once! I've had feelings that it might be going to come on but it doesn't, not even a little bit.
I'm wondering if the contacts were something that was causing it? I'm going to keep wearing my glasses and see what happens.
