I've had toxic phenytoin levels for a month but today's result came back normal so there's no longer an issue. I've been feeling wildly tired. I have no energy, but the oddest thing is that I am always so hot. It's the middle of winter here and everyone's complaining about how cold it is. And I'm running around wearing next to nothing, feeling overheated. I asked my doc whether my energy and so forth was just because the toxicity had taken it out of me and she said yes, there's no need to go to the GP, and that even the seizures that I had before a month ago will still be affecting me badly. So I've decided to cut off my clients for a few days and take a serious rest break. But the temperature thing bothers me. I can tell you that my thyroid is absolutely normal, as is my full blood count, so presumably that means I have no infections of any sort. And if it matters, I also have perfect blood glucose levels, and electrolyte levels. Oh, and no seizures really for 40 days or so.
