I have been posting on and off for the past two years about my son's cluster seizures. I want to thank everyone who has responded.

He does have epilepsy but we just got a diagnosis, after two years of incorrect diagnosis, of Sandifers Syndrome. In other words, extreme acid reflux due to the trileptal he is on. It is often misdiagnosed as seizures.

Thank you!

I don't understand- you're saying that he has Sandifers syndrome caused by the trileptal so he doesn't have epilepsy but why was he put on trileptal in the first place if not for epilepsy?
