Hi all. Haven't been on in a week or so, but was asked in one of the other threads to keep posted on jessica's progress.

Well, Jess is now 4 - and also 56 days SEIZURE FREE!!!!!!!! She is doing so good! Her walking and vocal have been improving daily, she is still so alert and happy, it is awesome:clap:

We didn't adjust her setting on her VNS at the last appt simply because she is doing so good at this setting. She will continue to go in once a month, but thanks to our VNS rep through OHSU, Jessica's primary dr here at home is currently undergoing traing on settings etc. Her primary is also an awesome doc and jumped at the chance to learn more about the management of the VNS. Jess is not the only child he has on his caseload w/ it.

Jess still has other medical problems, but the seizures she had either delayed or completely recessed any learning - even at the basic level. Since she has been seizure free she is so much more - well, everything! Just wanted to share this with ya all - there are happy threads in here too!

Thanks all,

Laugh often, Love deeply and smile every day :roflmao:

Awesome news! I'm so happy for Jess. :mrt:
