Yes! We had one in our living room that no other noise, like the tv, would block it out. Got rid of that thing!

TPBM
Watches the news.

Not really, usually by the time I get home from work the news is just starting. I see all the news I need on Facebook and on the local newspaper Web page lol

Tpbm has to clean their oven

TPBM
Did something today that they never thought they'd do.

Yep signed my own passport to confirm i me ....uk passport office barmy

Tpbm
Has not got off their backside all day

I stayed up all night because I had an early appointment, but I sat on the couch and worked and watched CNN all night long. Decided not to work anymore because I'm so tired now. Can't miss Obama's farewell speach otherwise I would go to bed.

TPBM stayed up for 3 straight nights once.

Sort off, have sleep deprived myself during veeg. My last veeg in 2015 where I was in hospital for 9 days (stupid brain wouldn't perform) I only slept for like 1-2 hours each night. On day 4 still no seizures do told the neuro I could better the 1 hour sleep, so he went OK. I saw this as a challenge and stayed awake all night except for dosing off , for 1/2 hour in the early hours of the morning.
When the drs and my epilepsy nurse came in to see me they told me to make sure I deep that night lol.

Tpbm often his shopping at opshops (thrift shops) for clothes

No but I have gone to the Salvation Army a few times and got some great deals!

TPBM
Has the TV on but isn't watching it.

Yes, especially if I can't do it myself.

TPBM - Prefers doing everything they possibly can themselves.

Yup! I agree it annoys me, if I can't do it and it doesn't get done, because others won't do it.... nagging doesn't work :(

TPBM is not looking forward the the 38 degree Celsius scorcher predicted for tomorrow....

Nope not at all. I started back at work today, during the day won't be bad as I work in an office with ok air conditioning. It's the getting to and from work which sucks since I walk. Our office is in an industrial area so it takes me nearly 1 hour each way to walk. The morning isn't too bad but the arvos are horrible. Luckily I'm used to walking in the heat so can tolerate it.

Tpbm spent a lot of the day just going through emails. (most of the emails come to me as reception so as we been closed for 3 weeks, I literally had over 100 emails. Still have to open 3 weeks mail lol)

Nope, not a significant amount of Emails received.

TPBM has a fence that is about to collapse in the wind less than 24 hours before they're getting their new puppy....

Yuck, make sure you wear plenty of sunscreen and drink lots of water. That's a long walk in this heat.

I forget about the sunscreen but wear a hat (well its a baseball cap lol) & always have water with me.

There is a short cut which cuts out 1/2 hour where I can go through an underpass but it floods lol. I had a look after work & it was a little flooded (most likely from raining all day Monday) lol. Usually the part where it's flooded isn't too bad, it's further up where the underpass is where it gets flooded

Oh cute, my old dog I used to have looked like he had a little bit of beagle in him. He was a gorgeous dog, bit of a sook lol. I got him when I was still living at home so when I left home he stayed with my parents & they took good care of him

TPBM is a bit of a bogan :)
Haha I can be, i look innocent & am shy but I can swear like a bloke.
Also I work for a builder & alot of the guys at work can be bogans (but deep down they have big hearts) so I fit in well :roflmao:

TPBM is so glad they have air conditioning right now lol
