Also, keep in mind that there ARE other golfers that ARE NOT white. ChicChi Rodriguez and Lee Trevino come to mind... Puerto Rican and Mexican respectively. Vijay Singh and Anthony Kim are two others that come to mind.
Hey Cathy, that is a great list. I am only going to give the modern ones:
1. Hugo Weaving-an actor
2. Neil Young- muscian
3. Agatha Christie-crime and romantic novels
4. Danny Glover-actor
5. Theodore Roosevelt the 26th President
6. Bud Abbott-1895-1974 of the famous Abbott and Costello comedy team. There most famous act was about baseball Who's on First!! I have most of their movies.
7. Truman Capote-a writer
Tiger Woods? Can he be listed with the other famous people?
These were all creative people with epilepsy. There must be a link between creativity and epilepsy. I have always thought so. I wonder who else that we do not know?
Thank you occb, for your comments with respect to domestic violence - they mirror my feelings exactly.
Ruth - I'm sorry, but I do have to firmly disagree with you regarding Tiger having epilepsy.
In my opinion, I live a clean life - but we all have different standards and morals so therefore, my opinion is of course subjective.
why do you keep insisting this? I would never insist someone has a disorder if it were not fact.
There was domestic violence because Tiger Wood's confessed to it.
I wrote "if it was rumoured", because that's all it is at this time -- even still, a rumour of a man beating up a woman is not treated with the same kind of levity. When it was still just a rumour that Chris Brown had beaten up Rhianna, many people's responses were different. This kind of humour upholds the common societal attitude that violence against a man is a-okay.Thank you occb, for your comments with respect to domestic violence - they mirror my feelings exactly.
However, I must add that there has been no confirmed accounts (other than media speculation) that Tiger Woods has been 'beaten up' by his wife. And if he has, does this make it right?
If jokes were made about a female celebrity in this way, would that be considered acceptable?
Interestingly enough, I posted the 'christmas card' image on my facebook profile last night and posed the exact same question. Interesting debate.
Who is Amy Lee and where does she advertise for epilepsy???
