I didn't know Trazodone prevented seizures. Interesting. Ooops. I spoke too soon. Trazodone is considered an antidepressant. ]

oh no- it had nothing to do with seizures - I wasn't diagnosed with epilepsy at that time and wasn't on phenytoin, or any seizure meds at that point.

they gave it to us to basically knock us unconscious for several days while our bodies went through alcohol withdraw, or whatever the other rehab-ees had as their drug of choice.

although I have wondered if the megadoses they were giving me, of whatever they were giving me, might have been a shock to my brain, and exacerbated my condition, weakend it to a spiral toward tonic-clonic seizures...

oh well, it's only life
