Greater Houston area has had a couple of days to prepare for the winter apocalypse. We're supposed to get an inch or so of snow. It's very rare for our area and municipalities aren't really equipped to clear roads and bridges of snow and ice. The icy roads are expected to last through Wednesday.

I heard Beaumont got 5 inches? And Galveston even saw snow! CRAZY! NOLA got a lot too I heard. You all thawed out?

Mostly. 90% melted today. The remaining will melt away tomorrow.

It's MUCH colder this morning than yesterday--temp is 17 F, single digit windchills. We're even expecting a decent amount of snow (min.4-8") on Wednesday! It's kind of funny--past few years our biggest snowfalls have been in February. I think we had BARELY 7" in all of January! Over the past few years, I've noticed us getting far less snow around the time of year we did when I was I kid. Overall, I have noticed the winters become far warmer & drier.

Tell us your weather for the day

0 degrees with overcast skies at the moment!. Coooold!
It’s the Harmattan season still over here in Nigeria. It’s blazingly hot. Currently temperatures are as high as 36 degrees Celsius in Southern Nigeria as at right now. There’s a high chance it could be higher in the Northern parts of the country. Like it’s wild.

Today it's sunny with the high of 32 degrees but we had a ice storm this weekend and we have another snow and sleet
storm coming in Wednesday night through Thursday.

I’m no flat-earther but it is crazy there’s a different season going on somewhere 🤯😂

Hi Heavy Kevy,

Let's hope you don't get what I'm getting this evening (Wed.-Thurs.) snow sleet and freezing rain with
another winter storm coming for the weekend. Hurry up spring.
Sending Lots of Love and May God Bless You,

Sue

I recommend this soundtrack if the cold is becoming too much. 🌞

It has been rather cold here. The past few days highs have been less than 20 degrees Fahrenheit. That's abnormally cold for February in the Chicago area. We haven't had much snow this winter, though. I've noticed that we've been getting FAR less snow than we did when I was growing up, & even less than when my sons were little kids.

Today's weather was reversed. It was near 50 degrees Fahrenheit this morning, but temps have been falling--Now its 38, and VERY windy, with a rain/snow mix possible

Currently in Pensacola, Florida. It is nice and tame now, but people keep claiming I need to prepare for the gates of hell to spread her warm embrace. Luckily for me she works day shift

I feel like I'm getting TOTALLY sick of the roller coaster temperatures/weather Chicago has been having recently. The past few years, it has been odder than I ever recall, & during winter we've BARELY gotten the snow we normally should. I'd be EXTREMELY happy with a NORMAL winter/spring/summer/fall seasonal temps--haven't seen ANY one in AT LEAST 20 years!
A few days ago it was in the mid 70's--last night/this morning, it's close to freezing!

It was 70 last Friday. It will be 27 tomorrow morning. With a chance of flurries!
Truly a roller coaster 🎢

This morning the temperature was 27 degrees, wind chill in the upper teens!! It's going to get more like normal in a few days, THANKFULLY! The tomato seeds I've started inside are sprouting & will be ready to go outside by Mother's Day.
