In my family I am required to know every name of every sport in the whole wide world. My dad loved the bears but he also made us faithful to our home team in Tacoma and Seattle. You never walked into his house without the game on. And What's the score?
Those were the good ole days. I miss him.

I'm in Latrobe/Greensburg area! Is there a group formed on here for some locals in western PA??

I'm from Beaver Falls. Don't know if you're a sports fan or not but the Steelers and Pens need to get their games in straight or no play offs for us!!!!!

I was born in Berlin, (West)Germany.

I have lived in Atlanta n' Athens(GA), Brattleboro(VT)(three times), Ithaca(NY), Clearwater(FL), London(UK), Washington(DC), Bethesda n' Gaithersburg n' Germantown(MD), and Duluth(MN). I presently live in a little 'hamlet' of G'burg. I don't like it. But I don't have much choice in the matter.

I wanted to move to Shepardstown(WV) early in my marriage(1992-2000), but that never transpired.

The Steelers lost a tight wildcard game to the Broncos, this past Sunday. The Steelers managed to get a 6-0 lead on two field goals, before the Broncos score a touchdown n' a field goal. at one point, the Steelers were down 20-6. The Steelers tied the game at 23, sending it into overtime. But the Broncos scored a touchdown, just seconds into overtime.

If there is any benefit to the Steelers losing to the Broncos, it is so Ben Roethlisberger will rest his leg in the off-season.

I'm more of a steelers fan then broncos. and I like baseball more than football unless you are talking about soccer then of course can be called soccer. I love that, we have a good team hear in WA state. I'm from IL so I am in love with the bears. But laugh all you want I always stand by my home team, so sad, Seahawks. Yes...I even buy shirts and jackets. I grew up in sports so I have to hold to my teams. Teresa. lol

I have been a Steelers fan through n' through, since I was 7yrs.-old. Even during the lean years.

After they won the Super Bowl in 1980, they had a number of QBs' that didn't workout at the NFL level, until they got Kordell Stewart who was multifaceted. But while he was multifaceted, it wasn't until they got Pittsburgh native Ben Roethlisburger, that the team really became of Super Bowl caliber again.

Wow, there's people from all over in here. But..I see no one from Missouri! I live in Excelsior Springs, MO, about 30 miles north of Kansas City. Now I can't be the only one in this state that has epilepsy. Come on Missourians, don't be embarrassed to admit you live here...kidding of course!

Whew, I was starting to worry that I was the only one. Though it would explain why the neurologist suck here...kidding! Well it's nice to know I'm not alone in this big state :) I've been researching to find anything local that supports, educates, raises awareness around here but I have found nothing. I may just work on that this year!

I used to be active the the Epilepsy foundation in KC. They helped me with support and even helped me get a job at one time. I kinda moved away from that and your right maybe its time to get involved again.

Northeast Connecticut, 30 minutes east of Hartford, 30 minutes south of Sturbridge, MA.

Anyone live nearby?

You posted this a year and a half ago so I don't know if you're still around, but I live in CT, too! But I live more in the center of the state, surrounded by Waterbury, Southington, and Bristol. Even though CT is so small, most people have never heard of the town I live in, so I usually have to specify by saying "It's near Waterbury". lol

I lived in Anaheim, CA for 2 years, but now I'm back in Connecticut. I missed actually having weather. and trees.
