anyone have any experience with this ?

could anyone give me information on whats its like?

See my posting in the Foyer forum. The doctor is recommending this for me and I am concerned about the expense. He wants a 7 day test, at maybe $3,000 per day, from what I am hearing.

I had a couple. Basically they hook you up to some EEG wires which you'll wear on your head at home ('ambulatory'), and you'll have a device in which you will press a button and provide a voice recording whenever you suspect seizure activity, experience strange symptoms. You'll also record your activities...for example, "I'm going to bed now."

Each day you'll return to have them make sure your EEG wires are secure, at which time they'll 'download' the previous day's info. Pretty simple overall.
