Hello Leonard,
Did this doctor at Mayo tell you that migraines and seizures are now classified to be in the same family?
I forget how old your son is? Could it be associated with hormonal changes?
I have found there to be a connection sometimes to vaccines, and have started a thread about that here:

:hello:

I personally have not heard of weather being a factor, except for excessive heat or dehydration being a trigger for some. I take keppra and have not noticed any regular cycles of ups and downs.

Hope you find more answers soon!

Hi Leonard, nice to see you here again. Seizure activity can be related to Vitamin D which is related to to the weather indirectly because your body produces it when you are in sunlight. Most people make less vitamin D in the winter and that can increase seizure activity then. On the other hand, heat can also be a trigger, so going outdoors in the summer when it's hot could be problematic. Everyone has different tolerances though.
